Biography and Curriculum Vitae

Biography
A biography is an account of a person's life, usually this account is published in the form of a book or essay. A biography represents the subject's life story, highlighting various aspects of their life, including some intimate details and experiences.

Birth/Early Life: I was born on September 26th, 1976 in Mankato, MN. I was raised Lutheran (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod) and took great comfort in that religion for a time. I was very active in our Church, teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for nearly a decade. I had many questions (much to the chagrin of my teachers and pastor), but remained faithful until around 1999 when I entered into a spiritually dark period of searching and contemplation.

Major Change: Meretisa Lilith Halliwell is the name I chose in 2004 when the winds of fate changed my life forever. It was the year of my "Saturn's Return" and my life was turned upside-down, shaken up, and altogether reformed. I was forced to make some much-needed and drastic changes to improve my life, my health, and my well-being. I will always be grateful to the Divine for touching my life and urging the changes that led me to the life I have today.

Clergy: I am ordained non-denominational Clergy through both Universal Ministries and Universal Life Church Monastery. I consider myself "Goddess Trained". I am dedicated to the goddess Isis, though I work often with other deities (including: Hekate, Osiris, Cerridwen, Thoth, Athena, Hephaestus, Luna,  Ares, Amaterasu, and others). I take great joy and pride in answering the "call" of Clergy- be it for joyous occasions or times of crisis. Clergy is not to be undertaken lightly and it is an office that requires

Author: I am an Author of a wide variety of books, most of which focus on Spirituality and Paganism. Currently, I am slowly working self-publishing my wide variety of books through CafePress.com. It has been a long process to review all my accumulated research and compile it into coherent text, but I love a challenge.

Teacher: I am a Teacher. I founded Stone Circle Coven and Stone Circle College. As the High Priestess of Stone Circle Coven, which is the working Coven associated with Stone Circle College, I lead a number of Students and Solitaries in Rituals throughout the Year. As the Dean of Stone Circle College, I try to provide a source of wisdom and spiritual growth for those who seek it. I am also the author of most of the required coursework for the College.

Partner/Mother: I devoted to my Partner and Soulmate, Hopedragon. He is my hope and has helped me to reclaim my wholeness. I am a loving and attentive mother to our beloved son as well. He is my joy and has shown me Life's Beauty and taught me many lessons.

Myself: I consider myself eclectic in every sense. Still, I am incredibly serious about my spirituality and furthering my education is one of my foremost and ongoing passions. I also consider myself an autodidact- a self-taught person. I enjoy learning for the sake of learning. Always willing to pursue new topics and research any subject that strikes my fancy or interest, my Classes/Workshops/Etc are (so I've been told) consistently well thought-out, user-friendly and soundly presented.

Curriculum Vitae
A Curriculum Vitae is similar to a resume, but is a more comprehensive listing of one's professional history. It includes all details of a person's employment history, credentials, publications, seminars and guest speaking, contributions, significant achievements, and may include examples of a person's work. I have compiled mine here below (sans employment since that doesn't apply to my work as Clergy, Author, or Teacher).
