Meretisa Halliwell

I was ordained by Universal Ministries on March 10th, 2005 and again with Universal Life Church Monastery on July 30th, 2008. My credentials are filed with Nicollet County, MN. I also perform Commitment Ceremonies for those whose relationships are not yet recognized by the state. I currently perform a small number of Ceremonies annually and am thus usually available for more. My training has largely been on my own through years of spiritual searching and research. I am currently working on a Doctorate in Religious Philosophy through Universal Ministries. Please go to my other website, Halliwell Handfastings, for more information.

As an Author, my subject-matter is spirituality for individuals rather than religion for the masses. I believe that each person must find her/his own Path to the Divine- and that each of those Paths is equally valid. I have issues with organized religion and believe that each person inherently an inextricably has their own personal spirituality. The purpose of my book series is to provide a wide variety of information on various religions, deities, and spiritual practices so that an individual can sort through them and then build their own spirituality. I've also written many articles on various topics, including: Pagan Parenting, Attachment Parenting, Self-Defense, Numerology, Feng Shui. Tarot Reading, Herbology, and more.

As a Teacher, I teach only "true Seekers", these are those people who actively seek wisdom and are also pro-active about their learning. Thus, I do not undertake any "Seeker" unless they have first completed an essay of at least 1 page (single spaced) that explains their spiritual upbringing, their current spirituality, and what they wish to gain from my tutelage. This is to be done on their own time-line and demonstrates to me that they are determined to learn and aren't wasting my time- or their own. My method of teaching is based on the ideal that only the individual may decide their Path and how they will progress along it. My philosophy on teaching is that I am merely a resource. The "Seeker" must dictate what they wish to learn (though I have a series of outlines to guide them) and also at what pace they learn. Please see Stone Circle College for more information.

As a Woman, I am a doting mother, a dedicated wife, a loving sister, a devoted daughter, a loyal friend, and a concerned citizen of the Earth.
